Job Title: FLT Warehouse Operative

Location: Chester, Cheshire

Salary: £28,288 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Monday - Thursday: 07:00 - 16:30
Friday: 08:00 - 12:00
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced FLT Warehouse Operative to join their established logistics team. This is a varied, hands-on role within a busy warehouse and yard environment, requiring both FLT operation and general logistics support.
Key Responsibilities 
Reach Truck Duties

Picking orders from stock and preparing them for dispatch

Safely storing packaging materials within racking systems

Delivering lead ingots to the production department

Supplying pallets for packing and order preparation

Counterbalance Duties

Loading and unloading inbound and outbound deliveries

Providing operational cover for additional warehouse tasks as required

Yard Duties

Managing lead storage within the yard

Assisting with gas deliveries

Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and general yard organisation

Manual & General Logistics Support

Assisting with manual packing of orders when required

Supporting the wider logistics team to ensure smooth workflow and service levels

What We're Looking For

Proven experience working within a logistics or warehouse environment

Valid Reach Truck and Counterbalance FLT licences (essential)

Strong team player with a proactive attitude

Flexible and adaptable approach to work
