Residential & Commercial Property Paralegal
Location: Hertford
Salary: £25,000 - £26,000
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm (Office Based)

A well-established law firm in Hertford is seeking a Residential & Commercial Property Paralegal to support a Partner within their busy property department. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual with prior property experience to join a friendly and professional team.

The Role

The successful Paralegal will work closely with a Partner, assisting on a range of residential and commercial property matters while helping to ensure transactions progress smoothly from instruction through to completion.

Key responsibilities will include:

Assisting the Partner with a variety of residential and commercial conveyancing matters

Preparing legal documentation, contracts and correspondence

Opening and managing client files, ensuring compliance procedures are followed

Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents and other third parties

Conducting property searches and preparing reports

Supporting with exchange and completion processes

General administrative support within the property department

Requirements

Previous experience in a residential or commercial property paralegal role is essential

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

A proactive and professional approach to supporting a senior fee earner

Salary & Benefits
