Accounts Payable Manager | Manchester City Centre | Up to £48,000

Axon Moore are delighted to be partnering with a market leading, rapidly growing Professional Services business in Manchester. Reporting directly into the Finance Manager my client is looking for an experienced AP Manager with experience leading large teams and involvement in big projects.

Salary: up to £48,000

Location: Manchester City Centre

Main Responsibilities:

To drive and motivate change within a large transactional team.
To lead on the implementation of new AP invoice capture tool. Continuous updates to senior finance team of progress throughout implementation.
To assist with the implementation of a new accounting system.
Support training across the business of new AP systems and processes.
Reporting on monthly KPIs to senior Finance stakeholders.
Monitoring AP and payment team overall performance and managing the setting of targets throughout.
Resolving internal and external queries in relation to AP, Payments.
Authorisation and approvals of daily payments.
Manage the regular review of Supplier Statement Reconciliation.
Assist with relevant group audits on new systems and implementing recommendations.
Reviewing and assisting in the data cleanse of supplier master data and invoices.

Skills required

Experience in implementation of AP automation software.
Ability to motivate large transactional teams.
Strong relationships with business stakeholders.
A self-starter with the ability work in a fast paced and changing environment to support the team in delivering results
