AWS EUC Architect - Work From Home

£490 - £500 per day, 12 month+ Contract, outside of IR35, Fully Remote Working

An International Opensource Consultancy known their continuous Integration platform allowing companies to build, deploy, test and release on demand via their cost-effective platform are seeking a remote EUC Architect with AWS experience to join their international remote working Cloud EUC Architecture team spanning over UK, Prague, Poland, Russia & Portugal with offices in Dublin, Romania & Ukraine responsible for Enterprise EUC Cloud Digital Transformations.

Essential experience

Strong knowledge and experience with AWS services and solutions
In-depth understanding of end-user computing technologies and concepts
Ability to architect and design end-to-end solutions, considering scalability, availability, security, and performance aspects
Proficiency in designing secure and scalable network architectures on AWS. Strong understanding of network protocols, VPN technologies, security groups, and AWS networking services
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and infrastructure-as-code tools for automation and orchestration
Analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot complex EUC and AWS-related issues. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, AWS Config) for proactive monitoring and troubleshooting
Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Desirable Experience

AWS certifications
Familiarity with architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) is beneficial
Eagerness to explore and adopt new AWS services and features
Proactive attitude towards learning new technologies, keeping up with industry trends, and acquiring relevant certifications

Responsibilities

Design and architect end-user computing solutions on AWS, including virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), application delivery, remote access and collaboration tools. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Configure and manage the AWS infrastructure components required for end-user computing. Optimise the architecture for performance, scalability and cost-efficiency
Implement secure access controls and identity management solutions on AWS for end users. Ensure proper authentication and authorisation mechanisms are in place to protect sensitive data and resources
Design and implement networking solutions to provide secure and high-performance connectivity between end users and AWS services
Develop automation scripts and workflows using AWS tools to streamline the deployment and management of end-user computing resources. Implement orchestration mechanisms to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for EUC-related issues on the AWS platform. Collaborate with support teams to investigate and resolve incidents and implement preventive measures
Optimise the AWS infrastructure and usage to ensure cost-effectiveness. Identify opportunities for cost savings, such as rightsising instances, leveraging AWS Spot Instances, and implementing cost management tools
