Job Title: Band 6 CAMHS Nurse - Learning Disabilities
Location: Bristol (NHS Service)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Agency
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: £27 per hour (Umbrella) | £21.71 per hour (PAYE, inclusive)

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 CAMHS Nurse with a specialism in Learning Disabilities to join a supportive NHS team in Bristol. The successful candidate will provide high-quality mental health care to children and adolescents with learning disabilities, working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for children and young people with learning disabilities.
Develop, implement, and review care plans in collaboration with service users, families, and other professionals.
Deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to individual needs.
Provide crisis intervention and risk management support.
Liaise with schools, social services, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in line with NHS standards.
Participate in team meetings, supervision, and training sessions.Requirements:
Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with valid NMC registration.
Minimum of 2 years' experience working in CAMHS or with children and young people with learning disabilities.
Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and mental health legislation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
