SEN Teaching Assistant - Full-Time Supply

Start Date: September 2025
Duration: Ongoing full-time supply (with potential to become permanent)
DBS: Enhanced DBS required (or willingness to obtain one)

NextGen Teachers are currently recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a school in Haywards Heath.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to students' individual needs
Assist the class teacher in delivering personalised learning strategies
Help to create a safe, positive, and structured learning environment
Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and external professionals
Support the emotional and social development of students with SENRequirements:

Genuine passion for working with children and supporting additional needs
Previous experience working with children
Patience, empathy, and a flexible, proactive attitude
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Right to work in the UK
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
