Multi Skilled Joiner - Permanent Role

Location: SalfordSalary: £25 an hourCompany van, fuel card, tools & uniform provided

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled and customer-focused Joiner to join a well-established maintenance team. This role involves delivering responsive repairs and maintenance to domestic properties, ensuring all works are completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out a range of joinery and multi-trade tasks across occupied homes

• Achieving a high first-time fix rate through effective diagnosis and problem-solving

• Working independently using a mobile device to manage job schedules and updates

• Treating residents and their homes with care, respect, and professionalism

• Supporting other trades where required to ensure efficient job completion

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 in Joinery (or equivalent trade experience)

• Full UK driving licence (held for at least 2 years)

• Previous experience in domestic repairs or social housing is beneficial

• Basic skills in other trades (e.g. plumbing, patch plastering) are advantageous

• Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset

• Ability to work alone or as part of a team
