The Role

As a Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing HMI/SCADA control systems, producing high-quality engineering documentation, and supporting project delivery from concept through commissioning. Your daily activities will include creating control specifications, scripting for SCADA applications, conducting system testing, and collaborating with site teams to ensure seamless integration and operation. You will support installation, commissioning, and training activities as required.

You will have the following qualifications & experience:

A proven track record in SCADA system design and implementation, with demonstrated experience in Rockwell FactoryTalk View or similar platforms.
Extensive knowledge of GUI ergonomic design and human factors considerations.
Expert-level scripting skills (C++, VBScript, Python) and experience with industrial communication protocols.
Significant experience with database/historian systems, especially with SQL scripting.
Proven ability to produce detailed functional specifications, system designs, and formal test documentation to high standards.
Experience in networked control system integration, fault diagnosis, and troubleshooting.
