Older Adult Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) - NHS Agency Contract | Ely, Cambridge

Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting experienced Community Psychiatric Nurses (CPNs) for a full-time agency contract within the NHS Older Adults Community Mental Health Team in Ely, Cambridge.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay Rates:

£27.00 per hour (Umbrella)
£21.71 per hour (PAYE, inclusive)Role Overview: This role involves supporting older adults aged 65 and over in the community who have a diagnosed mental health condition. Responsibilities may include administering depot injections, conducting home visits, and delivering person-centred care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage a defined caseload under the Care Programme Approach (CPA)
Conduct comprehensive mental health and risk assessments
Develop and implement individualised care plans and therapeutic interventions
Provide crisis intervention and ongoing support
Administer depot medication as required
Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team (MDT)
Liaise with GPs, social workers, and other healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with NHS standards
