What will you be doing?

• Manager & develop a portfolio of clients
• Ensure assignments are fully completed before passing across to partners
• Planning the assignment efficiently to meet budget
• Allocate work to other team members ensuring regular review & feedback
• Applying up-to-date technical knowledge as well as advising other junior team members
• Delegating, coaching and assisting in managing the team
• Plan staff requirements for engagements
• Prepare and finalising statutory accounts
• Maintaining regular contact with clients in own portfolio, providing ongoing updates
• Liaise with clients on all aspects of Audit/accounts/tax and to be the main point of contact
• Attending external and internal meetings

What qualifications/attributes required?

• 6 Years accountancy practice experience within the UK
• To have ACA or ACCA qualifications
• Ability to use Excel & CCH products effectively
• Maintain high professional standards of conduct
• Ability to use your knowledge of the firm to offer additional services
• Great communication skills
• Ability to work to deadlines effectively
