Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required to join a market leading supplier of Industrial Automation and Motion Control products/systems.

The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager shall work fully remote, covering the Northwest, responsible for developing new business and managing existing key accounts for industrial automation and motion control products such as sensors, PLC's, Robotics, Control Gear, HMI's, Safety switches, electric motors, servo drives and more.

The Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will ideally have a proven background selling automation and or motion control products.

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Role

Responsible for developing new business and managing existing key accounts for industrial automation and motion control products such as sensors, PLC's, Robotics, Control Gear, HMI's, Safety switches, electric motors, servo drives and more.
Will provide a consultative sales approach, including technical support, product specifications, and demonstration of all automation and motion control related products and components.
Work remotely, visiting customers across the Northwest to ensure customer requirements
Liaise with various Engineering departments 
Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Requirements

Experience as a Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Sales Manager / Key Account Manager / Business Development Manager / Internal Sales Engineer / Sales Executive or similar within an Electrical / Electronic environment, or related technical engineering industry.
Experience selling a selling automation and or motion control products.
A technical engineering qualification is advantageous.
Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable industrial automation distributor.
Will be willing to travel across Northwest of the UK
