We are seeking a dedicated and supportive Health & Social Care Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a Sixth Form College in Kensington. The role involves supporting students aged 16-19 within Health and Social Care lessons, helping them to engage with the curriculum and achieve their academic potential.

You will work closely with teaching staff to provide one-to-one and small group support, particularly for students with additional learning needs, supporting them in understanding course content, completing assignments, and developing independence and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

Provide in-class support during Health and Social Care lessons

Support students on a one-to-one or small group basis

Assist with coursework, assignments, and exam preparation

*

Encourage positive engagement, behaviour, and independent learning

*

Work collaboratively with teaching staff and the SEN team

Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

About You

A background in Health and Social Care, education, or supporting young people

*

Experience working with young people or learners with additional needs (desirable)

*

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

*

A patient, flexible, and supportive approach

*

Willingness to support students with a range of learning needs
