Fit-Out Quantity Surveyor

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE CUT & CARVE PROJECT EXPERIENCE

Our client is an established main contractor specialising in the Fit-Out arena and are currently seeking an ambitious and driven Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in generating detailed and accurate quotes for both new and ongoing projects based on client drawings and specifications and delivering projects within budget. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in quantity surveying, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication skills.

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Office based in Hertfordshire but will also be required to visit sites in London generally up to twice a week.

Main responsibilities:

* Undertaking the preparation and processing of quotations, bids, and tenders.

* Produce bill of quantities for final submission.

* To carry out monthly valuations of work in progress.

* Measure, value, submit and negotiate contract variations.

* Handle multiple projects simultaneously.

* Provide advice to project staff on commercial and contractual matters and attend site when required.

* Assist in the process of reviewing and processing subcontractors payment applications.

* Compliance with and assistance in helping promote the Health and Safety policy.

Experience / Qualifications needed:

* Degree in quantity surveying

* Experience across Fit-Out Cut & Carve projects

* Surveying/estimating experience 5+ years
