Registered Manager - 3 Bed EBD New Home, Coalville (Leicester)

Location & Context:

Brand‑new 3 bed Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) residential home near Leicester — Coalville. This is a first home in the region for a provider we've successfully partnered with before.

Introduction:

Lead the launch of a new specialist children's home and be at the heart of transforming young lives — where your leadership shapes safe, compassionate care from day one.

About the Role:

• Open, develop and manage the new 3 bed EBD home

• Ensure outstanding care delivery and measurable progress for young people

• Recruit, lead and mentor your team; promote training and professional development

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, budget, financial planning and strategic development

• Maintain safeguarding standards and Ofsted compliance; act as regulatory lead

• Provide flexible on‑call support as required

About You:

• Minimum 3 years' senior experience in children's residential care

• Level 3 or 4 in Children & Young People's Workforce; working towards or achieved Level 5 Leadership Diploma

• Strong knowledge of The Children Act 1989, children's home regulations and safeguarding

• Skilled in budget and financial management

• Compassionate leader committed to life‑changing outcomes for children

• Full UK driving licence and flexible, on‑call availability
