Self-Employed Gas Engineers Wanted – Join Domestic Heating Team

Domestic Heating Team are currently looking for skilled Gas Engineers to join our expanding workforce on a self-employed basis. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers with strong service and breakdown experience who are seeking regular local work, flexible arrangements, and the support of a fast-growing company.

The Role

You will be carrying out service and breakdown work in private domestic properties, dealing with a wide range of boiler and heating systems. Our work is focused on quality, efficiency, and outstanding customer service. Jobs are allocated through a PDA, which we provide, ensuring your schedule is organised and managed with ease.

Work is planned to remain local to your home address, reducing unnecessary travel and helping you maximise your time on the job. Engineers are paid per completed job, offering excellent earning potential.

What We Provide

Regular, reliable workload in your local area

PDA device for receiving and managing jobs

PPE supplied by us

Flexible commitment – minimum of three days per week

Support from our experienced office and technical management team

What You Need

At least 3 years’ proven experience in domestic breakdowns and fault finding

Valid gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT1, CKR1, etc.)

Full UK driving licence

Your own van and essential equipment (analyser, ladders, hoover, hand tools, etc.)

Presentable, hardworking, and professional with excellent communication skills
