Join our team at Heidelberg Materials as a Maintenance Fitter and play a vital role in keeping our production plant operating safely, efficiently, and reliably.
What You'll Be Doing- Support plant start-up and shut-down routines to maximise throughput
- Operate, inspect, and maintain equipment to meet productivity and maintenance KPIs
- Carry out mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance
- Assist with planned shutdowns and ensure maintenance tasks are completed safely and efficiently
- Perform welding, fabrication, and mechanical fault finding
- Maintain accurate records using our SAP-based maintenance system
- Train and supervise apprentices as required
- Travel to other local Heidelberg Materials sites when needed (travel allowance may apply)
What You'll Bring- Mechanical maintenance experience in a heavy industrial setting
- Ability to operate tools and machinery safely and effectively
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards
