Psychologist (Part-time) - Children and Young People Services

Location: Working across sites in Peterborough, Northampton, London, and Kent (Head Office is based in London)
Salary: Up to £60,000 pro rata

Are you a dedicated Psychologist passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people?

Our client is looking for a skilled and compassionate Psychologist to join their team, working across multiple sites to provide essential psychological support to children, young people, and staff in care and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions tailored to the needs of children and young people.

* Collaborate with residential staff and multidisciplinary teams to create trauma-informed, person-centred approaches.

* Deliver training, guidance, and consultation to staff to support effective therapeutic care.

* Offer psychological support during crisis situations, helping to develop de-escalation strategies.

* Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, focusing on the emotional and psychological wellbeing of children and young people.

Requirements:

* Qualifications: Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology (Clinical, Educational, or Child Psychology preferred).

* Registration: Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist.

* Experience: Proven experience working with children, young people, and staff in care or residential settings.

* Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence is required, as travel between sites is necessary.
