Class 2 Refuse Collection Driver - Southend-on-Sea

Pay Rate: £19.51 per hour
Shift Patterns: Multiple options available

Are you an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for ongoing, reliable work with a respected nationwide waste and environmental services provider? We are currently recruiting Class 2 Refuse Collection Drivers to support local waste and recycling operations in the Southend-on-Sea area.

This is an excellent opportunity for drivers seeking stability, regular hours, and a role that allows you to work within the community while operating modern, well-maintained vehicles.

The Role

*

Driving a Class 2 refuse/recycling vehicle on planned routes

*

Working as part of a team alongside loaders

*

Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects

*

Ensuring safe, compliant and efficient waste collection

*

Completing paperwork and following all site procedures

What We're Looking For

*

Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence

*

Valid CPC & DIGI tacho

*

Previous experience in refuse work preferred, but not essential

*

Good communication and teamwork skills

*

A positive attitude and strong reliability
