Key Details:

Role: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Sunbury-on-Thames

Start Date: ASAP

Daily Rate: £100-£125 (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Full-time, long-term (with potential for permanent placement)

Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with a range of special educational needs

Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement tailored support plans

Help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment

Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff and parents/carers

Requirements:

Experience working with children with SEN (ASD, ADHD, speech & language, etc.) preferred

A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Relevant qualifications or training are desirable but not essential

Ideal for:

Experienced SEN TAs

Graduates considering a career in education or educational psychology

Individuals with backgrounds in care or youth work
