Security/CCTV Engineer - Rail Infrastructure

Location: Multiple sites across South West Railways

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 depending on experience

We are currently seeking an experienced Security/CCTV Engineer to support installation and commissioning works across train stations and control centres within the South West Railways network.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation of new CCTV and security equipment, as well as configuring, testing, and commissioning systems to meet operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Install CCTV and associated security systems at rail sites and control rooms

Configure and commission equipment including network setup and diagnostics

Conduct testing, fault finding, and system optimisation

Ensure compliance with technical standards and industry regulations

Work flexibly across multiple locations as required

Requirements:

Proven experience in CCTV/security system installation and commissioning

Strong technical understanding of security infrastructure

Rail or transport environment experience highly desirable

Full UK driving licence preferred

Flexibility to travel across the South West Railways network
