We are looking for a skilled AWS Architect with a deep understanding of cloud architectures and a passion for building scalable, cost-effective, and secure solutions on AWS. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering cloud-based solutions that meet technical, security, and business requirements. You will take the lead in defining cloud architecture strategies, creating high-level designs, and guiding development teams in the execution of cloud initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on AWS using services like EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, and DynamoDB to meet business and technical needs.
• Lead cloud migration projects, guiding the transition of legacy applications and data to AWS with minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
• Define and implement cloud strategies, roadmaps, and best practices, ensuring cost-effective, secure, and compliant solutions that align with organizational goals.
• Provide technical leadership to development, operations, and security teams, ensuring adherence to AWS best practices, architectural patterns, and regulatory compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI-DSS).
• Develop automation frameworks with IaC tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS CDK to streamline infrastructure provisioning and optimize costs using AWS pricing models.
• Design disaster recovery and business continuity plans leveraging AWS services like Backup, Route 53, and S3 for data availability and system resiliency.
• Collaborate with business leaders, product teams, and developers to translate objectives into technical architecture, creating clear documentation and implementation guides.
• Stay updated with the latest AWS services and industry trends, ensuring cloud solutions are optimized for performance, scalability, and security.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Extensive experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, CloudFormation, DynamoDB, Route 53) and designing scalable, fault-tolerant cloud architectures.
• Proven experience in migrating on-premises systems to AWS using strategies like lift-and-shift, replatforming, and refactoring.
• Strong knowledge of AWS security best practices, including IAM, VPC security, encryption, and network access controls.
• Proficiency in IaC tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, AWS CDK) for automating cloud resource management and optimizing cost.
• Hands-on experience in driving cloud adoption, mentoring technical teams, and advocating best practices in development, operations, and security.
• Understanding of AWS pricing models to design cost-effective solutions and optimize resource usage.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and collaboration between development and operations teams.
• Strong communication skills to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and senior management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, or similar certifications.
• Experience designing microservices architectures with ECS, EKS, Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments, integrating AWS with other clouds (Azure, GCP) or on-premises infrastructure.
• Knowledge of relational (RDS, Aurora) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) databases and designing data storage solutions for performance and scalability.
