The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and have experience as working as a Trade Counter Assistant and a strong ability to manage time effectively. As a Trade Counter Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting various trade activities, engaging with customers, and assisting in the sales process. This role requires a proactive individual who can work well in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

* Assist in the daily operations of trade activities, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency.

* Communicate effectively with customers, providing information about products and services.

* Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales.

* Manage phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.

* Maintain accurate records of transactions and customer interactions.

* Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales targets and improve service delivery.

Requirements

* Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively.

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage customers positively.

* Experience in sales or customer service is an advantage, particularly in upselling products.

* Basic maths skills are required for handling transactions accurately.

* Will be required to work every other weekend

* Experience of working within a trade counter position is required.
