We are seeking a passionate and committed Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our vibrant primary school in the Shenley Brook End area. If you are enthusiastic about early years education and dedicated to creating a nurturing, stimulating learning environment, we would love to hear from you.

Role Overview

As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering the KS1 curriculum, ensuring pupils develop essential skills across all subjects. You will strive to create an inclusive, engaging classroom where every child is supported and encouraged throughout their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver creative, engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of all learners in line with the KS1 National Curriculum
Assess and monitor pupils' progress, identifying areas requiring additional support or challenge
Implement a range of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that supports pupils' social and emotional development
Collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents to promote pupils' overall well-being and development
Maintain excellent classroom management, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment for all

Person Specification

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Proven experience teaching Key Stage 1 or in a comparable setting
Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and contemporary educational practises
Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their academic, emotional, and social growth
