Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire

Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term (with potential to become permanent)
Salary: £100-£160 per day (depending on experience and school support)

We are working closely with a number of welcoming and inclusive secondary schools across Northampton who are seeking enthusiastic Unqualified Maths Teachers to join their teams. This role is ideal for Maths graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with strong subject knowledge who are keen to gain hands-on experience in the classroom.

The Role:

Deliver engaging and structured Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils

Support students in developing confidence, understanding and enjoyment of Mathematics

Maintain a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment

Adapt teaching methods to suit a range of learning abilities and needs

Work alongside experienced teachers and mentors to support lesson delivery and development

Take part in professional development and contribute to the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate:

A degree in Mathematics or a related subject, or strong subject knowledge

Experience working with young people (tutoring, mentoring, coaching or classroom support is desirable but not essential)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Confident, organised and proactive in approach

A genuine interest in education and personal development

Ideal for candidates considering future teacher training routes (PGCE, SCITT or apprenticeship pathways)

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
