We're looking for a proactive and detail-driven Accounting Associate to join a growing VAT specialist team, and be trained up as a VAT Tax Advisor. Excellent opportunity to join this lucrative area of accounting practise supporting a diverse portfolio of UK and international clients across a range of sectors.

The Role

As a VAT Associate, you'll be hands-on with the preparation of UK VAT returns—including complex cases involving international transactions, and group structures. You'll also assist with VAT registrations, group changes, and related HMRC submissions, with minimal supervision. This is a fantastic opportunity to deepen your technical knowledge and contribute to advisory and compliance projects while progressing toward full qualification.

What You'll Bring

A passion for delivering great service and solving client queries with professionalism and confidence

*

Accounting or related degree, with some commercial experience either through placement or c.12-18mths work history

*

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently to deadlines

*

Working knowledge of VAT compliance

*

Either already studying towards or holding a qualification (ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA, CA) — or prepared to take on funded study support.
