Key Responsibilities of a Refrigeration Engineer:

* Carry out routine preventative maintenance, including inspections and system cleaning, to ensure optimal performance.

* Diagnose faults and perform effective repairs on a variety of refrigeration systems.

* Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues involving compressors, condensers, evaporators, control systems, and refrigeration cycles.

* Maintain high standards of service delivery across all tasks and client interactions.

* Accurately complete and update service records, reports, and documentation.

* Offer technical guidance and support to both clients and team members when required.

* Comply with all health and safety regulations as well as internal company policies.

Required Qualifications & Skills for a Refrigeration Engineer:

* Proven experience working with refrigeration equipment and a range of refrigerants, including CO₂ and ammonia.

* Strong understanding of refrigeration principles and system operations.

* FGAS certification (or equivalent) is essential.

* Relevant industry qualifications such as NVQs or equivalent technical certifications.

* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

* Enthusiastic about engineering with a genuine passion for the trade.

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

* Professional attitude with a commitment to high standards of work.

* Full, valid UK driving licence required.
