Salary: £90 - £100/day

Empowering Learning are recruiting on behalf of one of our partnered SEND schools in Rugby for an SEND Teaching Assistant to start in September 2024 and is a permanant position opportunity.

The role is full time, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3:30pm term time only.

Our school opened in 2019 in a purpose built school for children and young people aged 7 to 17 with social, emotional and mental health needs and or autism. The school is well equipped with sensory rooms, therapy rooms, interactive classrooms, soft play room, recording studio and photography suite. The school has adopted a hollistic curriculum which means pupils really benefit from a blended approach in the classroom.

We are currently recruiting for passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join the team of staff who are committed to making a positive difference to the lives of pupils and their families in an innovative academy in Rugby.


- Reporting into Class teacher or HLTA

- Supporting and delivering teaching and learning in Key stages 2,3 4 and post 16

- Pro social modelling

- Safeguarding children, yourself and your colleagues

- Managing behaviour and supporting children to regulate their emotions and behaviour.

About you:

- Qualified Teaching Assistant or care worker

- Available Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3:30pm during term time
