Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Executive - New Business to drive enterprise opportunities across this clients Microsoft offerings. The role focuses on expanding the UK client base with services and solutions across:

  • Azure
  • Dynamics 365
  • Power Platform
  • Microsoft Fabric
  • Copilot/AI
  • A full range of professional and managed services

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities for Microsoft services and solutions
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification through to proposal, negotiation, and closure
  • Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to clients
  • Collaborate with internal pre-sales, technical, and delivery teams to develop tailored solution proposals
  • Stay informed of Microsoft's roadmap and market trends, positioning this client as a strategic partner
  • Consistently achieve or exceed revenue and growth targets
  • Accurately manage pipeline and forecasting using CRM and digital sales tools

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years' enterprise sales experience with a strong track record in new business development
  • Proven knowledge of Microsoft solutions (Azure, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Fabric, Copilot/AI)
  • Consultative selling expertise with ability to demonstrate business value and ROI to C-suite
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Comfortable engaging with senior decision-makers (CIOs, CTOs, CFOs)
  • Resilient, target-driven, and highly self-motivated
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and digital sales tools
  • Degree in Business, IT, or related field (MBA or Microsoft certifications advantageous)

  • Strong general IT knowledge and Microsoft tool proficiency
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Excellent planning, organisation, and pipeline management skills
  • Strong business planning and financial awareness
  • Proven ability to identify, analyse, and translate business requirements into effective solutions
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication abilities
