Sales Export Co-Ordinator

Salary: £24000 - £29000/annum

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for an Export Sales Co-ordinator to work for our client based in Leeds.

The main purpose of the role is to take ownership of pro-active sales and existing accounts to ensure a smooth service from enquiry through to shipment of goods to be exported to the UAE.

Main responsibilities of the role will include: -

*Business development within the UAE region to secure new projects and sales, including the management of existing ongoing projects and customers
*Provide updates, support and assistance when applicable
*Select appropriate freight forwarding partners, carriers and services to meet customer specific requirements; negotiating rates for transport; by sea, road or airfreight where possible
*Process applications for export document certification and arrange legalisation when required
*Provide accurate and compliant export and shipping documentation in a timely and accurate manner
*Responsible for shipment until ownership is transferred (based upon the incoterm agreed); main point of contact for clearance instructions, trouble-shooting, monitoring and reporting upon any delays
*Maintain records of export shipping documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in the event of HMRC auditing
*Responsible for accurate logging and processing of all returns and complaints in SAP (overseas and intercompany customers only)
*Upload and manage overseas orders from quotation through to invoice stage; accurately transposing information into SAP in line with departmental SLA's; ensuring pricing, delivery terms, lead-times and MOQ levels are in-line with agreed price lists, quotations or company guidelines
*Actively update the CRM/SAP system with customer specific information (overseas and intercompany customers only)
*Communicate and collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met including but not limited to - customs paperwork, labelling, and declarations and supporting documentation
*Create and maintain SOP's relating to all aspects of overseas and intercompany interactions and transactions
*Review exporting processes for continuous improvement including but not limited to efficiencies and cost savings

To be considered for this role you must have strong communication and negotiating skills with the ability to handle a high workload in an organised manner and to have an excellent standard within strict deadlines.
You will have a methodical approach to your work ensuring high accuracy of right first time. You must be adaptable and diligent in accordance with customs procedures and customer specific requests with excellent time management skills prioritising and working to deadlines.
Along with excellent cost management experience and the ability to balance business profitability with customer expectations.
