Hours: 4 on 4 off, 06:30 - 18:30

Key Responsibilities of an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter

Carry out routine servicing and mechanical repairs on HGVs
Diagnose faults and perform corrective maintenance
Complete safety inspections to DVSA standards
Keep all records and job cards accurate and up to date
Work collaboratively with parts and service teams
Maintain a clean, safe working environment
Skills and Qualifications for an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter

Essential

Experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles
Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Full UK driving licence
Desirable

HGV Class 1 licence
Experience in a dealer or fleet environment
IRTEC or similar certifications
