HGV Technician - Ayr

Day / Back Shift | £35,000 - £45,000 DOE + Overtime + Bonus + Excellent Benefits + Training & Progression

We are recruiting for a skilled HGV Technician to join a modern, fast-paced workshop in Ayr. This is a great opportunity to work with advanced vehicle technology while benefiting from strong training support and long-term career progression.

Working Pattern

* Day / Back shift rotation

The Role

* Service, maintain & repair HGVs

* Diagnose mechanical, electrical & hydraulic faults

* Carry out MOT inspections and safety checks

* Complete accurate service documentation

* Road test vehicles (HGV licence desirable)

* Support breakdowns and workshop operations

About You

* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance

* Experience working with HGVs or relevant apprenticeship background

* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

* Motivated, reliable, and team-focused
