Overview:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Unqualified Teaching Assistant to join a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Bridgend. The school caters to children and young people aged 3-19 with a variety of additional learning needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities:

Support classroom teachers in delivering tailored learning to students.

Provide 1:1 and small-group support during lessons and daily routines.

Encourage students' social, emotional, and academic development.

Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Assist with preparing and adapting learning materials.

Work closely with teaching staff and SEN professionals.

Requirements:

No formal qualifications required.

A genuine interest in supporting children with special educational needs.

Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.

Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic attitude.

Ability to work well as part of a team.
