We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Manager to join our dedicated team, managing a three-bedded Children's Home in Stockport. The role offers a competitive annual salary of £50,000 - £55,000. As the Registered Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Ensuring a consistent, high-quality care provision for all young people in the home.
Upholding and maintaining registration standards and adhering to all relevant legislation and quality standards.
Managing the home's occupancy targets and maintaining an active waiting list.
Leading a team of staff and promoting a positive working environment.
Managing and operating budgets within the agreed guidelines for the home.
Assisting with the planning and organisation of staffing rotas to ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained.
Participating in an out of hours 'On-Call' rota.Package and Benefits:

Autonomy to build your home to your standards The ideal candidate for the Registered Manager role should have:

Relevant experience of working at a senior level with children with a range of needs.
Experience in leading and managing a team of staff.
Knowledge of current relevant legislation and guidelines.
Experience in assessing children's referrals and liaising with social work teams.
A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or a Social Work Qualification (or be working towards these qualifications).If you've previously held roles such as Childcare Manager, Children's Home Manager, Residential Care Manager, Senior Childcare Worker, or Childcare Team Leader, this Registered Manager role could be the perfect next step in your career.
