Estimator | Residential, Commercial, Education | Kent / SE London | Sept 2025

A strong opportunity for an experienced Estimator to take ownership of pricing and tendering across a range of residential, education, and commercial schemes, with a contractor known for lean management and direct delivery.

You'll work closely with the Managing Surveyor and delivery teams to produce accurate tenders, carry out take-offs, manage subcontractor enquiries, and support pre-construction activities - with scope to get involved in both traditional and PCSA contracts.

The Role
• Estimator role working on residential, education, and commercial projects
• Pricing and preparing tenders from initial enquiry through to submission
• Preparing take-offs and bills of quantities where required
• Managing subcontractor enquiries and analysing returns
• Supporting value engineering and alternative solution proposals
• Liaising with delivery teams to ensure smooth handover to site
• Exposure to PCSA schemes (desirable but not essential)

What they're looking for
• 5+ years' experience with a main contractor or developer
• Background across residential and/or commercial new build or refurbishment schemes
• Strong procurement, analytical, and reporting skills
• Confident using Excel for tender analysis (no complex estimating software required)
• Able to work both independently and as part of a small, hands-on team
