An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Communications and Marketing Officer to join a trade association business who are based in Swindon. This role would suit a 360-marketing specialist who is looking for a remote based role but lives within close proximity to the Swindon area for monthly meetings.
Reporting into the Director of communications, you will be supporting the marketing and delivery of key industry activities to members and external stakeholders. The role will involve preparing and issuing press releases, assisting with the organisation and marketing of industry events, social media management through a variety of channels and provide support with website maintenance. You will also be responsible for preparing and checking presentations, articles, and marketing materials.
They have a big event to be organised for next year and you will be pulling together sponsorship materials, targeting sponsors and exhibitors to be part of the event, and managing all marketing collateral for the day!
This is an all-encompassing role which would be ideal for a marketing all-rounder who is bright and can come up with fresh new ideas! Experience of working in a marketing role is essential as well as strong attention to detail and written skills, highly organised and the ability to manage your own workload.
In return the company offers remote working, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, pension, medical insurance and working hours of 8.45am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
