Are you a Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in the Wigan area? Whether you're seeking day-to-day supply, short-term cover, or longer-term roles, we would love to hear from you.
We work with a number of welcoming primary schools across Shevington and Wigan who regularly require enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to support their pupils and staff.
This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking for flexibility around other commitments, returning to education, or hoping to gain experience across different schools.
The Role
You may be supporting across:
* EYFS, KS1 or KS2 classrooms
* Small group interventions
* 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs
* Classroom preparation and general support for teachers
Some roles may develop into longer-term placements for the right candidate.
What We Are Looking For
We are keen to hear from candidates who:
* Have experience working with children in a school, nursery or similar setting
* Are confident supporting learning and behaviour in the classroom
* Are positive, reliable and adaptable
* Hold a relevant TA qualification (Level 2/3 desirable but not essential)
* Have a genuine passion for supporting children's development
