Business Development Executive - £40,000 to £65,000

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join a well-established Fire and Security company. You will be expected to successfully sell fire protection and security systems products within an allocated geographical area, ensuring achievement of an agreed target. You will target both new and existing clients to sell our maintenance business and expand our reach.

Key duties of a Business Development Executive:

Prospecting for new customers
Attending sales appointments to sell the Company's products and services with a particular focus on Maintenance
Focus on customer retention to reduce lost custom
Collate appropriate information and ensure all correct documentation utilised
Provide daily reports as and when required
Always represent the company in a professional manner
Consistent attainment of agreed targets
Manage and develop your assigned post coded areas
Work closely with other departments as and when required

The successful Business Development Executive will:

Experience of working in the Fire industry is a must. You will need to understand our products and our industry to be successful in this role
You must have strong Business Development experience which includes winning new business and reaching targets upwards of £300K
Ideally you will have some experience or an understanding of bidding for tenders. As this role progresses, we will require this candidate to get fully involved within bidding and so you must have a desire to be involved in bidding
You will be customer focused, have excellent communication skills and have fantastic customer service experience
You will be tenacious and have a strong drive to succeed as well as a desire to learn
