We are seeking two energetic and proactive Teaching Assistants to join our dynamic team at a vibrant KS1 setting. These roles require individuals who are adept at adapting the curriculum and delivering effective group work under the guidance of a classroom teacher. The ideal candidates will be enthusiastic team players with a strong aptitude for ICT and a commitment to continuous learning.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Support the teacher in adapting and delivering the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of group activities, ensuring engaging and effective learning experiences.
  • Utilize ICT tools to enhance educational outcomes and engage students.
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to plan and execute educational activities.
  • Proactively identify the needs of students and adapt support accordingly to ensure a conducive learning environment.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with parents, building strong relationships to support student development.
  • Adhere to the school’s processes and policies, ensuring a safe and productive environment for all students.
  • Display good judgement and pre-empt potential issues by taking appropriate actions.
  • Fulfil all standard duties associated with the role of a Teaching Assistant, including administrative tasks and student supervision.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong competency in using ICT tools in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Proactive and enthusiastic approach to education and student engagement.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and student needs.
  • Experience in building positive relationships with parents and colleagues.
  • Commitment to professional development and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is preferred but not essential.
