The Role - Audit & Accounts Senior

As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will:

• Lead audits from planning to completion, including fieldwork and reporting.
• Prepare and review statutory accounts under UK GAAP and FRS 102.
• Supervise and mentor junior colleagues, providing on-the-job guidance.
• Liaise directly with clients, resolving queries and building strong relationships.
• Ensure compliance with technical standards and contribute to billing and recoveries.

What They're Looking For

The firm is looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with at least three years' UK practice experience. You should have a solid grounding in both audit and accounts, with the confidence to lead assignments and manage client contact. Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102 is essential, and experience with software such as CaseWare, CCH, Sage or Xero would be an advantage.
