Assistant Accountant
Our client, a media business which is apart of a PLC, is recruiting for an Assistant Accountant based in Leicester.
As Assistant Accountant, based in Leicester, you will be responsible for the following:
- Prepayments, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and p&l accounting
- Preparing, reconciling, and analysing monthly management accounts
- Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting process
- Understanding and commenting on the key drivers that impact the monthly management reports
The successful Assistant Accountant will be based in the Leicester area and have the following experience/skills:
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong Excel Skills (vlookups, sumifs, pivot tables)
- Qualified by experience or working towards ACCA, ACA, CIMA
- Three years plus Accounting experience within a fast-paced organisation
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
