Transport Planner Job in Sheffield

New requirement for a Transport Planner job with a well-known consultancy, working from their office in Sheffield. The ideal candidate will have had exposure to transport planning in an infrastructure or housebuilder environment and be looking to join a collaborative firm with progression opportunities moving forward.

Founded 30 years ago, this multi-disciplinary consultancy operates nationwide with regional offices located in the North West, Yorkshire, Midlands, South West, East Anglia, and London. With a current team of 70, their services cover town planning, architecture, master planning, landscape architecture, and heritage. They are now looking to appoint a Transport Planner who has experience within a similar consultancy or local authority.

Role & Responsibilities

Creation of transport assessments and travel plans
Assist with transport statements
Work with the side teams on site appraisals and access assessments
Develop travel plans and junction designs
Assist in report writing and analysis.Required Skills & Experience

Degree qualified in Transport Planning, Geography, or Civil Engineering
Experience working in a similar position
Proficiency in Arcady, Picady, Trics, AutoCAD, and Excel
Experience with transport assessments and travel plans
Strong communication skills
Full UK Driving Licence and car.What you get back
