Senior Packing Operative

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Pay: £13.00 - £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)

We're looking for an experienced Senior Packing Operative to join a growing production team in a hands‑on role that plays a key part in the day‑to‑day running of the packing department. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and feels confident taking ownership of packing operations from start to finish.

What you'll be doing

Overseeing daily packing activities and supporting smooth workflow across the department
Carrying out accurate quality checks and ensuring all products meet required specifications
Completing production paperwork clearly and correctly
Working closely with production teams to keep output on track
Maintaining excellent housekeeping and following site safety standards
Helping to train and support less experienced operatives where needed
Ensuring stock, packaging materials and products are handled safely and efficiently

What we're looking for

Previous experience in packing, production or a similar hands‑on manufacturing role
Someone comfortable working to targets while keeping quality high
Strong attention to detail and confidence completing paperwork
A reliable team player who can communicate well and use their initiative
Ability to follow processes, meet deadlines and maintain good working practices
