Our client, Ringway Jacobs, a leading provider of integrated highways management, is seeking a Supervisor to join the Construction Team in Cheshire.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of a comprehensive highways capital programme, including carriageway and footway improvements, structural patching, surface treatment programmes, road marking replacements, vehicle restraint system works, and street furniture enhancements.

The Supervisor will be responsible for planning, programming, organising, and overseeing the on-site delivery of the Council's highways improvement programme, as well as other commissioned work streams, ensuring all projects are completed to meet or exceed required standards and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise allocated works within the annual programme, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

* Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety Regulations and CDM requirements across all schemes.

* Review Supply Chain Partners' Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and COSHH documentation.

* Conduct site inductions and issue permits to work, consistently promoting Ringway Jacobs' Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality procedures.

* Coordinate and integrate resources to deliver projects and programmes, including internal staff, shareholder resources, consultants, and contractors.

* Oversee Supply Chain Partners to ensure delivery against agreed standards and specifications.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Qualifications (preference may be given to candidates holding some or all):

* NRSWA Supervisor.

* SSSTS / SMSTS.

* CSCS Supervisor.

* Temporary Works Supervisor.

* First Aid at Work.

Experience:

* Previous experience in the construction industry, ideally within highways.

* Experience supervising works near underground services.

* Experience in the supervision or application of traffic management.

Skills & Attributes:

* Full, current UK driving licence.

* Strong IT, written, and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to identify and deliver cost-effective, high-quality solutions.

* Systematic and logical approach to planning and problem-solving.

* Commitment to working to a high specification to maintain and improve quality
