We are currently seeking a mechanically minded Construction Manager to support our client and be based out of an office in either Lancashire or Buckinghamshire (the client can re-arrange internal resources to ensure the role can be based out of either location). This is an Outside IR35 role limited company contractors can operate, although no additional expense allowance is available for travelling contractors, and so candidates must be able to accept a flat limited rate of around £45 per hour. This is potentially negotiable for outstanding candidates. This will be to start as soon as possible with a duration of 3 months - working approximately 45/50 hours per week although some weekend work may be required.
Candidates must have knowledge and experience gained within the process industry sector and come from a trade background, ideally mechanical or with a lot of knowledge and experience of working on mechanical construction projects. This will not be suitable for candidates whose experience is largely building services or commercial build orientated. They will be handling small scale construction projects with no direct trade supervision, it will all be via sub contractors.
