Eventus Legal are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer or Solicitor to join the expanding Property team of a Legal 500 firm with offices across Lancashire and Greater Manchester. This is a permanent, full-time position handling a diverse caseload of residential conveyancing matters. The role is based in Preston comes with an attractive salary of between £35000 - £55,000 and a host of benefits including Private Health Care, 25 days annual leave, life cover and well-being perks to name a few, all within a progressive and supportive working environment.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Residential Conveyancer or Solicitor to join one of the region’s leading residential property teams during a period of continued expansion. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a full residential property caseload from instruction to completion. Key duties include:

  • Managing a full range of residential property matters including sales, purchases, leasehold, freehold, re-mortgages and new builds
  • Providing clear, practical advice to clients and maintaining a high level of client service throughout each transaction
  • Ensuring all transactions are progressed efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements and firm procedures
  • Playing an active role within the team, sharing knowledge and contributing to a positive and collaborative working culture
  • Supporting more junior colleagues when required and promoting best practice across the department

About You

You will be a Licensed Conveyancer, qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 4 years’ experience in residential property law and be confident managing a busy caseload independently. You will also demonstrate:

  • A solid track record in residential conveyancing with strong technical knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
  • A proactive, "can-do" attitude and the ability to work efficiently
  • A commercial approach and an understanding of client needs
  • Proactive and organised approach to managing work in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in networking and building a professional profile
