You'll be working onsite in Burnley, alongside a high-performing team, ensuring the stability, performance, and integrity of mission-critical database systems.

Key Responsibilities

* Install, configure, and patch CA-IDMS databases (Production & Test).

* Handle changes, incidents, and problem resolutions within SLAs.

* Monitor, tune, and optimise database performance and capacity.

* Provide support and guidance to application development teams.

* Maintain and enhance database security, backups, DR, and recovery.

* Document standard operating procedures and maintain system configs.

What We're Looking For

* 7+ years hands-on CA-IDMS v16.0 (essential)

* Solid knowledge of COBOL (desirable)

* Strong background with IBM z/OS environments

* Experience in IDMS logical & physical design, patching, DR, and tuning

* Familiarity with REXX, Assembler, ADS/O (nice to have)
