Key Responsibilities

* Preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for civils and groundworks projects.

* Analyzing project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to develop detailed estimates.

* Liaising with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather quotations and ensure competitive pricing.

* Managing bid submissions, ensuring compliance with client requirements and deadlines.

* Supporting risk assessments and value engineering initiatives to optimize project profitability.

* Collaborating with the commercial and operational teams to ensure estimates are aligned with project scopes and budgets.

* Assisting in tender negotiations and contract finalizations.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:

* Proven experience as a Civils Estimator within a subcontracting or civil engineering environment.

* Strong knowledge of civils and groundworks projects, including excavation, earthworks, drainage, and infrastructure.

* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

* Good communication and negotiation skills.

* Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field is advantageous.
