Science Teacher

Location: Knowsley
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £150 - £250 per day (dependent on teacher pay scale)
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term (with potential for permanent placement)

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a dynamic and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a well-supported secondary school in the Knowsley area from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school with a strong sense of community and a commitment to student progress.

The Role:

Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

Take on full teaching responsibilities including planning, marking, and assessment

Work as part of a collaborative and experienced Science department

Opportunity to become a permanent member of staff during the placement

Ideal Candidate:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - desirable but not essential

Confident in delivering the Science curriculum

Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply

Demonstrates strong classroom management and a passion for teaching
