Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be supporting a well-established and growing aerospace manufacturer in Sheffield as they look to recruit an experienced Quality Inspector to strengthen their quality team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-driven inspector to join a high-spec environment where quality and precision are absolutely non-negotiable.

As a Quality Inspector, you’ll be responsible for ensuring all incoming materials, in-process production, and finished components meet both company and customer quality standards.

• Carry out incoming, in-process, and final inspections using height gauges, verniers, and micrometers
• Prepare and maintain accurate inspection reports and documentation
• Support and participate in internal and external audits
• Identify and raise non-conformances, providing feedback to production
• Use part marking equipment and produce data cards/documentation for dispatch
• Work in line with AS9100 and NADCAP standards
• Promote a quality-focused culture across the shop floor
• Follow SOPs to meet production and delivery targets
• Maintain equipment and ensure a safe working environment

• Proven experience in a Quality Inspection role (essential)
• Strong understanding of quality standards and processes (essential)
• Experience working to AS9100 / NADCAP standards (highly desirable)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (desirable)
• Experience using a FARO arm (desirable)
• Background within the aerospace sector (desirable)
• Engineering qualification (NVQ or equivalent) (desirable)
