My Primary team are currently working with a fantastic primary school based in the South lakes area.

The school are looking to recruit a qualified and experienced classroom assistant to join them in January 2026. The role will be working in a mixed Year 5/6 class supporting the class teacher. There are 3 children with low level EHCP's in the class that will require general support but not one to one.

The role is 8.45-3pm Monday to Friday.

The role can also offer extra hours through the week as a midday supervisor plus 2 days working in the after-school club. This could potentially offer up to 37.5 hours per week for the right candidate.

The school embraces the outdoors and works in Forrest schools programme.

The ideal candidate will hold a minimum Level 2 qualification and have experience of working in a Primary setting.
